Do you seek God for what He can do, or seek Him for who He is?
Would you be like Moses who replied God that he will go wherever He goes, despite even remaining in that tough desert place?
How did you respond when adversities come your way? Do you blame God or in faith and thanksgiving, in supplication to the Lord?
It is so easy for everyone, including myself to question God, with irreverence, when we face tough tough challenges against us. But let's be reminded that God will never leave us nor forsake us (Heb 13:5). And sure enough, everything happens for a reason and stems from His love for us. For He loves us so deeply.
Here's also a reminder for myself to seek God not for what He can do, but that precedes; just desiring an intimate relationship with Him. We love Him for who He is, and not what He can do.
Everything else is a blessing; a surprise; a bonus.
Application in r/s: Love your father, mother, siblings, bf/gf, friends just for who they are.=)
