Thank you Lord

God is good all the time!

Thank God for so many wonderful things that has come to past and ongoing ones. His goodness is bountiful!

1) Thank God for His favour for my rural rotation (4). The results came back and as undeserved as I was, they brought a smile to my face. The results were the best of all 4 rotations thus far. Praise God!
Ironically, the better results came in the tougher rotations - not by its medical content, but the inner struggles I had to grapple with. The weaker I was, the more I relied on God, and viola! the results were beyond good.
These results just render you speechless cos they are really impossible without God. God is awesome!

2) Mission Trip - Yes, I believe the team is excited on going for this mission. More so, we are anxious about spreading His word in Chinese for 2 full days. Despite that and the many uncertainties, thank God for making this possible. When God wills, He enables.
Thank God for granting us courage to go in faith. People like Yenmii are inspiring for their lack of Mandarin-speaking background, yet she simply obeys God.

If you're reading this, we are a team of 8 from Hope Brisbane Church who are going to Perth on a 7 day Mission trip. We will be doing evangelistic programmes in UWA, Murdoch and Curtin University. We will also be joining Hope Perth Church's LG, trusting God to do wonderful and powerful life-changing things! On top of that, we'll spend 2 days in Katanning Perth, conducting Sunday School and Adult services to a group of Chinese who has yet to encounter Christ.

Pray with us for good weather, strong health, safety, wisdom in team planning and executing in spirit and in truth, softened hearts and openness of the kids and adults in Katanning, students in the respective uni - ready and receptive, directions to the right people whom God wants us to touch, God's love, equip with the armour of God and fruits of the Spirit.

3) Cambodia Trip - Thank God for opened doors. Although I don't quite exactly know what's in store, this trip with the BB Boys would be a fruitful one. Once a BB Boy, always a BB Boy!
6-11 Dec 2011. Noted.
And prolly, it would be a prelude to many Mission trips to come.

4) Thank God for Jace's and Alvin's missions in the Philippines. Truly inspirational. They've start up Ambassadors For Jesus Christ (AFJC), gave out freebies and necessities to the children, given multiple sermons and I believe touched many ones too. Also, they are part of a team in providing med services to the community.
God willing, we Brisbane med doctors might just organise a med missions and join them in Philippines. That would be awesome!
