Katanning planning-in-progress

Thank God for a fruitful Katanning SS meeting this arvo. Although we started slow, the brainstorming process was great and i must say, the final product on paper looks awesome. Definitely not from us who have virtually no experience in this but by His grace.

The session is going to be great and we have to continually seek the Holy Spirit's anointing in this, especially finding courage and the right words to share in Mandarin. For myself, the greatest challenge came when YM asked me to share about my testimony many years back.

God is good and as we were PnW-ing together, I was reminded of that "time" where many blessings poured forth. It was indeed a blessing in disguise. And I had images of how I could share with the children in Katanning. I've done it before in Singapore and I sure hope it would make the same, if not a greater impact in the lives of the children. But firstly, the right words must come forth, and the kids must understand. haha..

And Pastor shared from 2 Kings 4:1-7 where we just need that little amount of "oil" to pour into these empty vessels. And we should not underestimate what this little oil can do in them. i.e. God can do impossibly greater things through you that you can ever imagine!

Brother Willy shared something simple yet powerful: "It's not what you can do, it's about what God can do through you."

I guess that sums up what mission trip is about. We can never prepare enough for any missions. Do our best, and let God do the rest. Missions is about faith. Let our faith in Him grow!

P.S. v7 - This oil never runs out!!
