Just as I was pondering about the insufficiencies in life, I was reminded of God's blessings upon UQ6.
This week, one brother and one sister received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We prayed for our brother on Tues, after prayer meeting. We prayed and prayed and the Holy Spirit's presence was so strong. What impacted me was the unity in prayer that night. Never in my 3 years in Brisbane did I experience such strength and unity in prayer for a common purpose. We spoke in tongue and prayed over our brother and God answered our prayer.
Matthew 18:19-20: Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
Am also encouraged by a second sister-in-Christ's perseverance in this area and we believe in God's timing, her prayer will be answered too. cos God loves her so much.=)
God is at work in UQ6, especially so after the Strawberry trip last Sat. May this unity in Christ be carried on across many more weeks to build up one another, knowing He is in control.
Thank you Lord.
