Back home for 9 weeks =)

Hi guys, it's been soo long since I updated..

And yes, it feels soo good to be back home in Singapore..

The flight back from Brisbane was one of the best I've taken.. Most spacious with a double deck pit and service was good. Travelled by British Airways and thank God for the safe journey.. esp when the pilot captain told us that there was a delay due to a problem with the brake-system. And a day later (which is today), news report of yet another Boeing have to turn back to Sydney min after departure. And it WAS the very stopover I took yesterday. Praise the Lord indeed.

And yea, it was the first time my check-in luggage has been directed to another flight and will be here anytime soon. Sent directly to my house.. *Fingers crossed*

The joy of being home..

1) the constant flow of home-cooked meals from mum.. first dish after my touchdown - 10 steamed dumplings.. yums..

2) Incessant flow of ICE-CREAM stocked up in the fridge every time.. Miss those in Aussie. Super ex man

3) Play guitar with bro.. Got to learn 2 more keys Bsus and C# minor... Praise and Worship

4) Get to read and "feel" the actual Straits Times newspaper in the morning without going onto the UQ website to gain access to it.. And watching ChannelNewsAsia live, instead of going online for it.. Turning uncle yes I know, just love the news happening around the world.

5) Gonna continue the soccer regime which I had once a wekk in Aussie with the awesome med guys. Starting with the kickoff at NUS this Wed morning.. Cant wait.. And the upcoming Fico pitch kickarounds... And the ones that will be organised by Ian.. Soccer makes the world go round!

6) Spending time with the family after one long year.. First up, Little India with the mum and bro.. Gonna visit the local traditional sites like these.. Brings back memories! No other place in the world offer such experiences of varied cultures all in one place.. And of course, the best foods in each individual place

7) 2 week elective begins next week at Surgery Department. Get ready for a fun-filled experience with more eye-opening opportunities.. Of course, get ready too to be scolded for my under-par knowledge =) Oh crap, I need to learn Hokkien, Canto and the other dialects to better communicate with the older generation!

More updates coming up..
