Some notable events..

1) Raymond Thian's leaving in 2 days' time and we just had a special farewell dinner for him. He's truly been a humble gentleman who has made an impact in many of our lives. In particular, his accident in Dec which saw him enter the ICU with a cranial haemorrhage.

We are all better for having Raymond Thian in our lives in Brisbane. Despite not being a Christian, he drew unity in Judah 6 - unified in prayer. And we witnessed God's miracle. God saved him from the angel of death, obviously God's not done with him! And we pray for another miracle - Ray's salvation.

It was amazing and yet heartwarming to listen to the many impressions and heartfelt thanksgiving cum encouraging words for Ray that night.

One particular "trait" that Ray exhibits is his undying determination to get things done when he sets his eyes on it. He organises activities - sometimes all by himself- for Judah 6 and we were so blessed, by this brother. His musculine figure and tough dietary regime speaks volumes of him. haha

Awaiting more news of Ray when he gets back to Msia.

2) A brother was diagnosed with Leukaemia ALL last week.
When I received the news, my heart sank.

Thank God for my ordeal that I could share my experience with him.
Thank God for his salvation last Wednesday. Hallelujah.
Thank God for his positive mindset despite contracting cancer.
Thank God that he's finished his studies before being diagnosed.
Thank God for family and friends' support in this time of need.

He's currently warded in Royal Bribane Hospital for his first dose of chemotherapy (cyclophosphamide) which commenced this afternoon. Farely positive dude which has won him half the battle :) Will be flying to Melbourne for the remaining doses.

If you come across this post, pls pray for him. that..

1) His faith will continue to be strengthened as he draws closer to God with the time he has.
2) He will be responsive to the treatment. The chemo drugs will eventually kill every cancerous cells left in his body.
Side info.. ALL often occurs in infants, and rarely so for ppl his age 20s... Pray this factor wouldnt hinder his progress.
3) Covering over his family.. Physical and mental strength. And God to touch them in this time. Great opportunity as their hearts are softened and minds opened. They allowed him to receive Christ. v v similar to me years back!

Alrighteys, praise God in all circumstances in good times and bad times cos God loves you no matter what.

Update more on my studies soon. For now, everything couldnt be better.

Cheers mate!

Countdown to sunny island SG: 3 and half months!!
