Life group was held at James' and my house (we're living happily together haha.. suggestive) this week and it just ended 2 hours ago. Was fun to see about 25 new freshies joining out Life Group this week and having an opportunity to make new friends and get to know about God. That number, including our big Judah 6 family, totalled about 50 ppl... And our living room was packed to the max!!
Thank God for the numbers, cos if it was any bigger, our games and dinner would not be successfully conducted. Yes, there's still some space to move about. Praise God! Everyone enjoyed themselves I'm sure.. Crazy "HAHA" game, passing the current, building the rack games were awesome interaction games. Kudos to Jace and her team.
Finally able to give Cintia her present which was a white "feminine" bag which my mum and I chose.. Glad she love it alot.. There's a pact we had that I would try to gain 2kg while she lose 4kg. And she won.. haha.. It's NOT easy to gain weight ok?? I think it's in the genes.. bleah
Now for the not-so-good news. Was playing field soccer with the medical students of whom many were from Canada.. Had fun knowing names and trying to speak their lingo.. Until a 50-50 ball (for soccer players you should know what this means) cause 2 guys and myself to collide together. This guy was muscular and big sized and he gave me such a great impact that my chest and abdominal muscles went into spasm. For the first few seconds, I thot i was going to die. Couldnt breathe and my organs felt "intertwined". Thank God I survived and was able to breathe after resting for 10 more seconds. "The breath of life" I call it.
Every now and then, the chest felt tight and painful. Not the skin but deeper. Discussion with a 5th year med student pin-point that to a muscle bruise in the chest. Hope we are right and there's no internal bleeding cos it's so close to the heart. haha... Next few days would be crucial.. the pain should subside. If the stools are dark brown, means internal organ bleeding somewhere.. Pray hard!! Thank God I'm still alive.
