It was a significant event where Christians are encouraged to fast and pray nearer this event, to expect a greater encounter with God.
As it began, the 4 prophets began speaking into the leaders' lives and many were so real! As real as it should have been, cos they were gifted with this gift and the words were from the Holy spirit's. Some prophesies were so correct that many of us proclaimed "Amen!" and others nodded in agreement. :)
Was truly an eye-opener as we see how words spoken like these can impact lives. It's beyond supernatural, it's spiritual. Of course, the prophesies have to be followed up on thereafter. But the experience was awesome.
Soon came the time for the prophets to prophesise over individuals selectively. And he chose me, speaking sth like "I sense that you have gone through something like a huge setback and turmoil. But God allowed it to happen for a reason and you just have to continue trusting Him that He makes all things good for His people." I knew what he was saying, instantly. The issue that I've grappled with, through breakthroughs and recurrences.. It has not been easy.
But the Lord is good.
As truly as I thought I have overcome it in the past 3 years, God revealed to me through a dear sister-in-Christ that 'No', the issue is far from settled. As I reflect on the trip back to Singapore, I knew clearly that I was still affected somehow. God knows best! and this afternoon, God has chosen to speak to me through a prophesy. Felt so blessed. I mean, out of so many individuals yearning to hear what God has to say, He chose me :) Beyond words. God knows the centre of my heart - He knows what's affecting me most.
Without 'full' surrender, there is no 'true' freedom. I felt silly - the problem seemed bigger than God, when the reverse has to be true.
Today, I've committed to walk close to Him daily. The Lord increases and I decrease.
God refreshes! God strengthens! :)
Psalm 51:17
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God,
You will not despise."
