OC was awesome and we saw many people re-dedicating their lives to God again, people being prayed for healing, salvations, baptism of the Holy Spirit and even manifestations. I believe everyone was blessed in one way or another.
Went down to be prayed for healing and the pastor just asked me to "Thank God".. During one of the worship sessions, God brought me back to the days of 2000 when I was diagnosed with Leukaemia. It was as if an angel was saying "Treasure your time because all these are God's gift for you. Havent God rescued you from the gates of hell? Dont be lukewarm in your ways but amplify your time and make them fruitful. For every second is made possible by His grace."
And it was so apt as I was praying for forgiveness from the sins of procrastination which I've been grappling with since the O levels.
"Thank God".. So true cos you have to first think or focus on God before you can sincerely give thanks to Him and I believe He wants me to do that in order to have a deeper r/s with Him.
Thank the Lord for every moment in life.
Just to share with you a testimony I wrote for the Boys' Brigade newsletter in April 2004. Managed to sieve thru the email for this article as I was preparing for another survivor story for Cancer Children Foundation (CCF).
Hope this would be meaningful to you readers, esp if you're in BB pri or sec. Know that you've been continually blessed by your officers and seniors. Give thanks. Thank God.
