Met a very special Sister-in-Christ in Brisbane.
Very simple girl who never fails to bless others by her smile and LAUGHTERS. All sorts of funny "nonsense" from her just because she LOVES everyone around her. Knowingly or unknowingly, she has blessed us all through such simple acts of love. Yes, laughter is love; the love that goes beyond laughter.
What truly made me admire her that much is the constant genuine smiles and laughters despite her pains and struggles which not many knows.
Behind her funny and jovial image belies the mature and deep self - her continual thoughtfulness for the ppl she knows, in particular close friends and FAMILY. She wants to share their struggles and burdens, so much that she dreads ppl who holds back thinking that she's not mature enough to understand.
She shared with me sth recently which I believe God has a part to play in. A very personal thing which not every girl would share with a boy. Being a doctor-to-be and a Big Brother to this sweet sister, I cant help but to have a burden for her.
I was reminded of Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." while sharing my testimony during lifegroup. She was there as well and I truly hope that she would be encouraged and continue to believe. Hope God would speak to her during this tough stretch and strengthen her and heal her.
No matter the status of health, good or bad, God has a purpose for everything. Seek His kingdom and you shall "receive". And I hope she would receive an answer from God and His healing.
I pray God will not take her away but use this to build her up as well as those who've been touched by her. May this be her testimony that comes to past. A very powerful testimony that many would be encouraged as well. Every struggle, every pain is an opportunity to share of God's love.
I believe that God is not done with you.
