The days are good, with a tinge of stress evident. Perfect weather, very much similar to Singapore's. Thank God.
The chap is physically healthy, spiritually growing, emotionally stable, mentally tested. Showing signs of procrastination in his work but recovering well. Relationship wise, friendship is strong and expanding.
Showing signs of homesickness but would rather focus on God, and knowing the price his parents have to pay to support him in studies. It has not been easy motivating thyself to study hard, but he knows he will succeed eventually. GPA of 7 is his target and he knows he can do it if he works hard. When God enables, you will be amazed.
Just started guitar classes yesterday, preparing to play for life group worship soon. They need new instrumentalists. It has always been a dream to play as such. Not very overwhelming, thanks to practices with bro back home. The basics are there, just the fine tuning.
Just spoke to a close friend over MSN, and here's what surfaced..
Food-for-thought:
Acknowledging God's presence is one thing. Knowing He loves you is another thing.
IF one day, your girlfriend whom you so dearly love has to be separated from you, would you still say "God loves me".
IF one day you meet and accident and you lose both your lower limbs, will you still say "God loves me".
Pastor MS once said this, "If you have to watch your wife get raped, would you still declare that God loves you"
I can never imagine and hope that never happens.
